The Southern Queensland LMR includes the towns and cities of the Fraser Coast, Gympie, Toowoomba, Warwick and Western Downs. It covers a total area of approximately 443 040.9 square kilometres and its estimated resident population as at 30 June 2006 was 457 682 people.
