The Western New South Wales LMR includes the towns and cities of Chifley, Far West, Gwydir Namoi, Lachlan, Orana, Oxley, Patterson and Windamere. It covers a total area of approximately 457 659.9 square kilometres and its estimated resident population as at 30 June 2006 was 369 537 people.
